If your hawk 250 isn’t running correctly, chances are the stock hawk 250 carburetor is not tuned correctly or using the wrong jets. I have worked on 4 different hawk 250 dual sport bikes so far and all of them had the same issue, not tuned or running the wrong jets. The hawk 250 manufactures […]
I would recommend any hawk 250 owner to get this hawk 250 aftermarket exhaust for their bike. When it comes to the hawk 250 any extra power is a good thing and this exhaust sounds much meaner and you will notice a difference right away when you go for your first ride. It was a […]
Fellow Hawk 250 owners, I have created a account with Zazzle to offer some hawk 250 apparel and accessories related products. I will be buying some of the items listed on my hawk 250 zazzle shop and do a few giveaways on this website. I have also got the rights from the hawk 250 rps […]
Here is a great 4 part video series he did on his adventure with replacing the hawk 250 sprockets and a quick ride to see the difference the sprockets have made. Please make sure to subscribe to his YouTube channel for more videos on the hawk 250. Follow him on Cacklez Twitter, Google+ and instagram. […]
I have noticed a few hawk 250 bike owners purchasing these hand brush guards for their hawk 250 dual sport. If you own one of these TMS hand brush guards please comment in the section below this post and let us know how they are. They are fairly priced and I think I will be […]
Decided to finally swap out the 110 jet with a 115 jet on my hawk 250. It takes only a free minutes to swap out the jets on these carburetors from Hawk 250 shop. You don’t need to drill out the screws to make adjustments or replace the jets. Then I did oil change on the […]
Great find by MotoCheez for some Hawk 250 RPS Dual Sport storage options. This was a quick installation and it can fit a lot of tools or whatever you want to store in there for your ride on the hawk 250. It also makes it look like you have dual exhaust on your hawk 250 […]
The video below shows MotoCheez changing his front sprocket on his black Hawk 250. You can click here to see my picture guide on how to change the sprockets on your Hawk 250 RPS dirt bike. I went with the 15th for my front sprocket and 45th for my rear sprockets. I’m 240 pounds and using these sprocket sizes I’m able to max out the bike around 63+ on a straight away, uphill I will go to low 50s. The good thing about these sprockets, they are cheap and its fairly easy to swap them out for testing to see what works best on your hawk 250.
This was a great find by MotoCheez on why the Hawk 250 RPS dual sport rear tire would rub against the chain. It seems the chain guide holes are way off from where they should be. This was a fairly quick tweak to do on my Hawk 250 RPS. I had to do it on 3 other Hawk 250 and it got easier and quicker after the first one.
I have just uploaded some short clips I had of my friends and my hawk 250 dual sport bikes. I was holding the iPhone the wrong way for every single video, so that is why you see images added into the video. Sorry for the noob mistake =).
We are loving the hawks 250 dual sport bikes and try to get as much riding as we can. We haven’t had any major issues with them. The key is to make sure to do routine maintenance to prevent major issues from occurring.
