Before I purchased my new Shinko 244 tires I had to do some research, because every website selling tires throws a bunch of different sizes and numbers at you and I had no idea what any of it meant.
The stock Hawk 250 runs an 80/100-21 front and a 110/100-18 rear. Reading that: the first number is the tire width in millimeters, the second is the aspect ratio (sidewall height as a percentage of width), and the last number is the wheel rim diameter in inches.
The Shinko 244 is a popular dual-sport upgrade that works great on and off pavement. Match the stock sizes above and you'll be good to go.
