Here is another video done by the man himself, MotoCheez reviewing the Hawk 250 RPS dirt bike after hitting 1000 miles. He gives his approval for the hawk and expect it to run for a long time. The key with this bike or any other bike, is routine maintenance to prevent major breakdowns. I have just uploaded some short clips I had of my friends and my hawk 250 dual sport bikes. I was holding the iPhone the wrong way for every single video, so that is why you see images added into the video. Sorry for the noob mistake =).
We are loving the hawks 250 dual sport bikes and try to get as much riding as we can. We haven’t had any major issues with them. The key is to make sure to do routine maintenance to prevent major issues from occurring.

This was a great find by MotoCheez on why the Hawk 250 RPS dual sport rear tire would rub against the chain. It seems the chain guide holes are way off from where they should be. This was a fairly quick tweak to do on my Hawk 250 RPS. I had to do it on 3 other Hawk 250 and it got easier and quicker after the first one.

The video below shows MotoCheez changing his front sprocket on his black Hawk 250. You can click here to see my picture guide on how to change the sprockets on your Hawk 250 RPS dirt bike. I went with the 15th for my front sprocket and 45th for my rear sprockets. I’m 240 pounds and using these sprocket sizes I’m able to max out the bike around 63+ on a straight away, uphill I will go to low 50s. The good thing about these sprockets, they are cheap and its fairly easy to swap them out for testing to see what works best on your hawk 250.
