This is the new O-Ring chain I got for my Hawk 250 RPS, this chain is 100% better than the stock one that comes with the bike and it’s a quick change. There is no need to cut the chain if you are using the stock sprockets or the ones shown above.

Fellow Hawk 250 owners, I have created a account with Zazzle to offer some hawk 250 apparel and accessories related products. I will be buying some of the items listed on my hawk 250 zazzle shop and do a few giveaways on this website. I have also got the rights from the hawk 250 rps distributor to use the hawk 250 images in clothing, cases and more. I’m trying trying to find some good quality images of the bikes and come up with some kind of design.

Quick post hawk riders, I recently uploaded 3 YouTube videos on my channel from our bike ride on June 24th 2018, we did a bit over 30 miles and it was a great time, as always.
About 10-15 minutes into the ride, I heard some noise and found a trail entrance, when we went in we found bunch of ATV and dirt bikers ripping it up in the sand and gravel. The girlfriend didn’t want no part of the off-roading lol, so I will need to come back with with another buddy and get some better video of the quarry and trails.
My hawk 250 is maybe 400 to 500 miles before it hits 5000 miles (I’m guessing because I don’t know the exact mileage on my stock cluster, it was a bit over a thousand miles). I will be doing a hawk 250 5000 mile review real soon. I haven’t had any major issues yet.

This is the street riding part of the ride on June 24th, like always its very scenic views when riding around the Catskills. A lot of empty resorts from the 40s as you can see in the middle of the video.
Just sharing some images of the hawks in the wild. We have the black, red and blue power rangers in the street cruising the Catskills. The Hawks are running great and really good value for the price. We have all changed our sprockets, chain and tuned the carburetors with new jets. I will be posting some images of the stuff we changed and small guides soon.

What’s up guys, this isn’t hawk 250 related but it does have 2 wheeled ;). My girlfriend signed up for this challenge for June to do 100 miles.
Well June has been a super busy month and we left this challenge with only like a week left in June. We got the 100 miles done in 3 rides, the longest one was 60 miles in about 9 hours of riding, including breaks.

What’s up Hawk 250 riders. If you have been waiting to get the aftermarket hawk 250 exhaust upgrade for your hawk then this is the post for you.

If you want an affordable street-legal dirt bike, you should purchase hawk 250 bikes. After years of using my Hawk250 duel sport motorcycle, I can say with confidence, you will love it. While the bike does have its flaws and you’ll probably need to replace the sprockets, it’s a bike that you can’t get too crazy on. I’ll admit, I was not the safest motorcycle driver when I had my Suzuki GSX. She was a beauty but allowed me to go at speeds I shouldn’t have. The Hawk’s top speeds are 65mph and I’m cool with that. That’s all I need for side road cruising and some fun in the dirt.
There are a few different benefits I’d like to focus on today when it comes to purchasing Hawk 250 dirt bikes. They include:
Price – We live in some crazy times where job pay is not growing much but our bills are tripling. Different strains of Covid seem to be coming from all directions and our brains need a rest. One way to relieve some stress and anxiety is to hop on your bike and get some fresh air. Hawk 250 bikes are affordable and you can even select a monthly plan to pay it off. You can even get a Hawk 250 Enduro X-Pro from Amazon and pay with your Amazon Prime Store Card with zero interest.
Assembly – Another great benefit of owning the enduro bike is that it requires minimal assembly. Any Joe-Schmo can read the directions to attach a tire and handles.
Great Starter Bike– If you’re just learning to ride a motorcycle or want to, Hawk250 is a great started bike. Its top speed is around 55mph but once you change the sprockets you can get 65mph or more. I like that I can’t go faster, otherwise I might find the need to be reckless.
Street Legal- The first time I purchased a Hawk I did not do my research. The local DMV did not accept the bike as street legal and it was registered as an ATV. I purchased a second bike and drove 45 minutes away so I can register it as a street legal motorcycle. The drive was worth it but make sure that you do the same before going to any DMV.
The next time you ask yourself should I purchase Hawk250 motorcycle, the answer is yes. The bike is not perfect but it’s budget friendly, easy to ride and adjust to your needs.
I have just uploaded some short clips I had of my friends and my hawk 250 dual sport bikes. I was holding the iPhone the wrong way for every single video, so that is why you see images added into the video. Sorry for the noob mistake =).
We are loving the hawks 250 dual sport bikes and try to get as much riding as we can. We haven’t had any major issues with them. The key is to make sure to do routine maintenance to prevent major issues from occurring.

Before I purchased my new Shinko 244 tires I had to do some research because any website you go to buy these tires, it will have bunch of different sizes and numbers and I had no idea what all that meant =). Doing some quick googling and research I found a website that I think explained it pretty well. I’m copying/pasting their content below and will link to the post under it. BEWARE: This website worked for me and the tires I got fit perfectly, please make sure you do your own research if you are getting different tires than the Shinko 244 I got, I would hate for them not to fit and you blame me =(.
The tire sizes for the Shinko 244 tires I got for my hawk are,
Front – Tire Size:3.00-21 51L
Rear – Tire Size:4.10-18 60S

Most dirt bike tires have a set of numbers that indicate the tire width, aspect ration (height) and rim diameter. Sometimes you might see just the tire width and diameter in inches (i.e. 2.50 – 10), and this is common with smaller tires.
- 80/100-21 Front Tire –

Using a common 80/100-21 rear tire as an example; the first number, 80, indicates the width of the tire in millimeters. The second number, 100, is the aspect ratio, which is the height of the sidewall in relation to the width of the tread (100% of 80mm). The last number, 18, is the rim diameter in inches. So this tire is 80mm wide by 80mm high or tall and fits a 21″ front rim.
- 110/100-18 Rear Tire –

Using a common 110/100-18 rear tire as an example; the first number, 110, indicates the width of the tire in millimeters.
